Amaze to cease current work from September 2015
Amaze started as a small project well over a decade ago with the aim of supporting churches in the practicalities of employing youth workers - and supporting the youth workers themselves with training. Some four years ago the project became part of Youthscape, a long-established charity who had a build close ties with Amaze through joint projects.
Regrettably we have now taken the decision to formally end the work of Amaze, at least in it’s current form. Falling subscriptions mean we can no longer sustain the level of advice and service we feel is essential to provide. We will therefore be closing the website and membership services - though we will continue to run training as Youthscape on line management, fundraising and other key issues.
Some of the online and other services of Amaze may continue to operate through other organisations - we have developed a substantial archive of resources and are currently working on handing these on, perhaps even with the ‘Amaze’ name.
I want to thank you for your involvement with Amaze - we are proud of the ministry and support we have provided and grateful for the fantastic feedback we receive from those we have worked alongside.
Can we ask you to cease any existing standing orders, direct debits or other payments you make to Amaze. Where services have been paid for in advance, we will be issuing a refund directly to you.
If you have any questions please do contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your support.
Chris Curtis - on behalf of the Amaze team
